Gwyn and I just got back from my Dad’s retirement in Vancouver a couple days ago. We were only there for a couple days, but we tried to make the best of it. The first day we went biking downtown, then went to the party which included a trip across the Capilano Suspension Bridge. It was a pretty wide and solid bridge. I didn’t fear for my life at all. Oh well. The next day we went snowshoeing on Cypress. Then it was time for the 8-hour drive back home on Wednesday so I could head back to work the next day.
I just got back from San Diego this morning at about 3:00am. Sure, I’m a bit tired, but it was worth it. I got to see magoodbuddy Travis, plus a great hocky game (who would have thought a minor league hocky game would be so fun to watch) and a day of rock climbing. I’ve never been climbing before, but Travis and his friend Louie were very cool about making sure I didn’t die. Gotta say I apreciate that.
