I got a new job! As of the 25th I’ll be working for the good people at VodPod. I’ve heard it described as a “video aggregation site”, but I think that doesn’t really capture it. I think it’s more like Delicious for videos. Whenever you come across a video that you like, you can click the bookmarklet and have it saved in your VodPod account. Then you can put a badge on your blog (like I’ve done) or just keep track of your favorite videos all in one place. This should be a big change for me and I’m really looking forward to it.

Well, we finally broke down and got Keenan a friend. She’s a Lab/Basset Hound mix, so hopefully she will be able to keep up with him. They seem to be getting along very well; she is taking him in stride, which is more then most dogs are able to do. Keenan looks almost exactly like her dad, so that may have something to do with it. We don’t have a name for her yet, so we’re going to have to get on that.

Update: Her name is Leeloo.

Gwyn finally broke down and painted the entire inside of the house this week. I think it looks pretty good. I picked the colors in the bedroom, but the rest is all her. And she did all the work.

Gwyn and I got a new white lab puppy named Keenan. Aw crap, I have to go clean up pee now… here’s some pics until I get back:

Gwyn and I just got back from my Dad’s retirement in Vancouver a couple days ago. We were only there for a couple days, but we tried to make the best of it. The first day we went biking downtown, then went to the party which included a trip across the Capilano Suspension Bridge. It was a pretty wide and solid bridge. I didn’t fear for my life at all. Oh well. The next day we went snowshoeing on Cypress. Then it was time for the 8-hour drive back home on Wednesday so I could head back to work the next day.
